In recent years, advancements in technology have led to a surge in interest and implementation of unmanned aerial vehicles for various applications, ranging from delivery services to infrastructure inspection, disaster management, and beyond. As the skies welcome more drones and autonomous vehicles, the need for a robust, efficient, and secure traffic management system becomes increasingly imperative. The demand for drone activity in Sweden and Norway is immense. Just in these two countries alone, official numbers show there are approximately 1 million drones. Norway has already launched a tender to purchase a U-Space/UTM software to help scale and manage drone operations. It is estimated that 100,000 drone flights will be managed every year by this system.
